Course Objectives

Raising awareness and gaining
knowledge on diminishing the energy used in construction, usage and
demolishment of buildings and using renawable energy alternatives in design
which are not harmful to environment.

Course Content
|
What are the disadvantages of the
conventional energy sources which are used for the construction and the use
of the buildings. What are the alternative energy sources, how we supply and
use them, what are their advantages. How could we use alternative energy
sources in our architectural designs for heating, cooling, ventilating and
lighting of the buildings. What we expect from technological developments and
which roles designers and consumers to take to be able to spread the use of
alternative energy sources to wider scales..
